At Motor City Spindle Repair we received a Hermle Machine Tool Spindle (Kessler spindle) with a Cat 40 taper that has a maximum rpm of 18k from a customer who told us the spindle was no longer rotating. After disassembly and inspection, it was concluded that the bearings had failed causing the unit to lock up entirely. We were able to clean and reassemble the unit with brand new precision bearings, within a matter of a few hours. The unit was then tested for a few hours and shipped directly to the customer ready to install.
A few days after receiving the spindle, this company emailed stating how pleased they were with how quickly this was repaired and with the quality that provided. We have now been working with this customer for years and they have always been satisfied with our services.
