Motor City Spindle Repair received the following Kitamura spindle, which had crashed while in operation. After disassembling the spindle, our spindle technicians discovered excessive damage done to the spindles internals. Once the parts were cleaned and inspected, many of them were sent out for Chrome and Grind work, including the Shaft, Drawbar, and Spacers. New Precision Bearings, O-rings, seals, and draw bar springs were ordered to replace the old damaged parts. After all parts were reworked and received, one of our skilled Spindle Technicians (with an average experience of 20 years repairing spindles) rebuilt the spindle. The Kitamura spindle was then balanced with expert precision, and test run at the spindles maximum speed of 12,500 RPMs. When this Kitamura Spindle was returned to the customer, it ran flawlessly for them, like it had when it first came out of the factory.
