Motor City Spindle Repair received this Mazak HCN 510 Spindle from our customer, which was locked up and couldn’t be test run. Once the HCN 510 Spindle was disassembled and cleaned, the inspection process showed us that there were many surfaces on the spindle and shaft that were worn. The Spindle Shaft, Housing and Spacers were sent to Chrome, and once received were ground by our staff. After the spindle parts were ready and we had received the Disc Springs, Precision Steel Ball Bearings, O-rings, Seals, the spindle was ready to be assembled. One of our six Spindle Technicians, with and average of 20 years experience, rebuilt this HCN 510 spindle with precision and accuracy. The spindle was then put on the test stand and balanced with expert precision, so it produced almost no vibrations while running. The Mazak spindle was test ran for 4 hours, to ensure the quality of the build and balance of the spindle. The customer received this Mazak HCN 510 with it running flawlessly. We are confident that it will perform for well over the 1-year-warranty that we provide for all of our spindles.
