Motor City Spindle Repair received this Mitsubishi Spindle Motor from one of our customers. There had been a spindle crash, which had caused excessive force to be put on the pulley and tear the key from the motor shaft. This crash also caused damage to the motors bearings, with the quick jolt that was felt through the machine. Our Technicians disassembled, cleaned, and quoted this spindle all within 24 hours of receiving it. The Shaft had to be welded and machined to once again hold the pulley key, which was also manufactured. The Mitsubishi motor winding was tested to makes sure it worked properly, which passed. The winding was then washed and baked. One of our experienced Spindle Technicians reassembled the Mitsubishi Spindle Motor with new precision bearings. The Motor was running flawlessly when we test ran it for four(4) hours.
