Are there any spindles makes you do not rebuild?
Yes. We do not rebuild: Makino, IBAG, Cytec and a few others. We are very busy so stick to what we are good at. We do not rebuild spindles we feel are problematic.
Why does Motor City Spindle Repair offer Free Pick and Delivery on Emergency Spindle Repairs?
Because our customers need door to door service when they are machine down. A few hundred dollars or more means nothing when a customer has a critical machine down. And because we pick up nearly every day for our customers we get incredible pricing from Load 1 our preferred courier. We also have (2) vans and several pick up trucks used daily for delivery services.

Currently about 65-70 a month but that number increases about 10 units a month every year.

Six full time Spindle Assembly Technicians.

Do you test or warranty the spindles you rebuild?
Yes. All spindles are tested and have a full one year in service warranty.
The warranty does not start until after you install the spindles into your machine tool.
Do you install or remove spindles?
Yes. We install and remove spindles for our customer all over the entire USA.
We also provide on-site spindle balancing, vibration analysis, and other services.
Who are some of the biggest corporations Motor City rebuilds spindles for?
GM, Ford, Chrysler, Honda, Hyundai, ZF, CAT, Cummins, AAM, and hundreds more.
Is Motor City certified to rebuild spindles for any OEMs for Machine Tool Distributors?
Yes. We rebuild spindles for more than a dozen major OEMs and Distributors. Most of these partnerships are confidential and the number of agreements we sign is growing every year.
Have you hired anyone from a spindle or machine tool oem?
Yes. The majority of all of senior staff members have all worked for major spindle or machine tool oems.
How do you supply fast quotations in 24 hours or less and fast lead times?
We jump on spindles the second they arrive at our facility and stay on them until they are completed. Sometimes this is not always possible but if it is possible our staff, managers and owners are committed to making it happen. It do every aspects of the remanufacturing process in house to best control lead times. It’s a philosophy many companies sell but do not put into action.
