We have always rebuilt a fair amount of Gleason and MAG spindles through the years but these other OEM’s were not common.
We have rebuilt many of the Weiss spindles out of the Felsomat machines, the GMN’s spindles out of the Hofler’s and Kessler spindles found in many Klingeinburgs.
I’ve noticed with the Reishaur spindles that tgey have a fiberglass encapsulated rotor. Does anyone know the reason or benefit of this design? I’m always looking to learn and I’ve only seen this very few times.
