Our owner / Spindle Room Leader, Jeff Carter has been building cnc spindles for over 25 years and is truly a spindle guru. Jeff is assisted by and amazing staff in his Spindle Room which includes Rich Griffith (32+ years spindle repair experience), James Hall (25 years experience), David Riopelle (12+ years experience), John Wilson (11+ years experience) Ian Nash (Former German Spindle OEM), Lance Mateyak (Former German Spindle OEM) and Ed Dee who worked for DMG Mori the World’s Largest CNC Machine Tool OEM, moved all the way from Dallas, TX That is only our Spindle Room. We also have staff members in our machine shop with 20-30 years experience each.
All of these gentlemen are exceptionally gifted spindle assembly technicians. I do not know of another Spindle Room in the USA with such extensive experience. Often we hear spindle repair companies including many of the major spindle oems have 1-2 talented spindle techs but not many additional staff with the true ability to do what it takes to build a spindle back to the within the oem specification.
Another key to our success at Motor City Spindle Repair is how we how we respond to warranty claims. We do not ask for PO. We do not delay. We dispatch have one of our experienced staff members in one of our many delivery trucks or vans directly the customer floor. By doing this we often are able to determine the true root cause of the spindle failure. We believe our quality is second to none but no spindle repair company including the oem is perfect. By responding immediately to our customers requests for service we eliminate loss time and this generates a form of communication that can only occur when a qualified spindle technician meets with a customer on their floor to trouble shoot the problem on site. We do often find problems with the machine tool itself that is not related to our spindle repair but again we are not perfect. But I will certainly put our quality spindle repairs up against any spindle oem or rebuilders in the country. Why? Our extensive experience, continuous improvement policies, and our rigorous testing. This is all back by a full one year warranty.
