The Kessler C50U Spindle Drive Motor was not running at the customers facility, which is why they sent it to Motor City. Upon inspection it was found that the encoder was malfunctioning and preventing the drive motor from running. There were several other parts that were worn or out of spec, including Cord Grips, Butt Connectors, Nuts, Seals and O-rings. These components were all ordered or manufactured new, so that the C60U would run like a new motor.  Once these components were all received by our facility, one of our several Experienced Spindle Technicians reassembled the Motor with expert care and precision. The Kessler Motor was then placed on one of our four test stands and test run for four hours at the maximum speed of 16,000 RPM. Once completed the Motor was running flawlessly before it was shipped back to the customer.  We are confident this Drive Motor will run well for a long time to come, which is why we offer a 1-year-warranty on all our repairs.
