We received this Puma spindle from the customer with instructions that it was a rush job. The customer informed us that their lathe spindle was producing excessive heat and vibrations. After inspecting this spindle, it was clear that the bearings had burnt up. Our Spindle Technicians disassembled the spindle and cleaned all the components of metal debris, dirt and grease. One of our experienced spindle technicians then reassembled the PUMA spindle with new precision roller and ball bearings, as well as new o-rings. The spindle was then balanced with expert precision and test run at Maximum RPM for 4 hours, to ensure it ran consistently and precisely. The PUMA Spindle was shipped back to the customer within 36 hours of receiving it. Our customer was very pleased to get their spindle back in such a short period of time and they informed us that it was once again running like new.
