Mazak Corporation has been in the machine tool industry since 1969. It originally began in Long Island, and has now moved its headquarters to Florence, Kentucky. This machine tool OEM services industries like aerospace, medical, construction, and many others when it comes to providing machining solutions.
What type of machines are they known for?
Mazak is known for a wide range of both vertical and horizontal machining centers, as well as turning centers and other even more progressive machine tools. Their machines have 5 different levels of multi-tasking that allow operators to produce the most progressive products.
How does Mazak help customers?
Like most OEMS, Mazak understands the importance of machine down time when it comes to overall productivity. They strive to offer the best support possible to their customers by offering training options for end users. They have expanded their reach into the medical field. With their INTEGREX i-H Series, it allows the user to retrofit various automation options in the field since medical part production is constantly changing. Does Motor City Spindle service Mazak spindle repairs?
Although Motor City is NOT the OEM, yes. We repair 60-80 spindles a month, and Mazak is one of our most frequently repaired units; therefore, it is something we can easily take care of for you.
Mazak will be at IMTS coming up in September in booth 338300. They will have in their booth live demonstrations of real-world production on the new Ez Series, INTEGREX Multi-Tasking machines and the new SYNCREX Swiss-Style Series. That’s 18 machines over 5 pavillons in their booth.
