WHAT IS IT? The SDS Package by Motor City Spindle Repair is MADE BY and FOR manufacturing and spindle repair professionals. This package allows users to test, diagnose, and balance any spindle machine.
HOW DOES IT WORK? SDS relies on the ISO 17243-1.2 Standard to asses the severity of machine tool spindle vibrations. It then can provide automated spindle fault conditions, balance in 1 or 2 planes, and even use the latest infrared camera technology to test bearing cooling integrity.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? After tests are completed, automated reports are created which can then be printed, emailed, and stored locally or in cloud.

spindle test run logger: place sensor in each spindle bearing and measure vibration and temperature every minute. automated reports will show both trends.

Balance in 1 and 2 planes: balance at 100,000+ rpm
